7 Psi
Of boost that is. Yup, my gauges are finally hooked up. Matt, thanks for helping me with the finishing touch on the gauges.
Matt and I went out for a test drive after finishing up the install of the gauges. I maxed out at 7 psi of boost. It's about right I guess. The readout on the EGT gauge was about right too.
Matt, if you're reading this, one question. Boost build up slowly right? For example, when I was driving home on the highway at around 60mph, then I hammer the gas, I was getting only 5 psi. This was normal, right? I mean, it doesn't just jump to 7 psi immediately right? Sorry...boost newbie question.
All in all, everything seem to be where it should be. My next agenda: pulley size will get smaller.

And get rid of my beloved automagic? lol...in due time Matt. Problem is after spending the dough on the SC, I don't have much left for anything that expensive. I could also go all out and build up the auto tranny.

I might still do a 5spd swap, but definitely not anytime soon.
Btw, want to race?

Red? Please tell me you don't look like Carrot Top!

We're losing boost somewhere... and I think it's from the connector right after the blower (the tight 90 degree bend is too restrictive).
Thanks!
Yep that Stillen 90deg piece is awefull. I wonder if...

How does it retard timing or control the fuel (assuming he's using larger injectors)? Haltech?

Yes, I'm on the 3.33 pulley as Matt stated. I'm planning to go with the 3.25 pulley soon, I bought the 3.25 from SteveChicagoSC. Hm...maybe I should gone with the 3.125 instead?
As far as the first automagic to go with a 2" pulley, um...you first Kev. If your car is still in working condition after that, I'll consider it down the line.
So, 7 psi is about right for the 3.33 pulley? If that's true, it means that the 3.25 pulley will only give me about 8 psi.
3.125...hm....

I bet we would boost higher if we fixed the air flow.
