poss. tranny concerns

i have taken my 03 i35 (auto of course) to the dealer for one of these issues, but there is a new one that has been progressing recently. first one-- under moderate to heavy accel, the 1-2 shift either is slipping badly or is delayed. it just hangs up around 5-6k for about 3-4 seconds before it shifts. strange thing is that it is doing this typically in the first 30 min of driving, after that the shift becomes a little quicker. the dealer could not reproduce this concern. the second/new concern- it feels like there is excessive backlash when cruising in OD. if i tip in/out under very light throttle there is a clunk--- like when a rwd vehicle has too much play in the rear diff. the car has about 63k miles and had a tranny service about 7k miles ago at the dealer. i don't know how much of this is normal or if i have have a real concern. thanks in advance.

:edit: after thinking about this some more, in regards to the clunk- the possible problem could be a trans/engine mount. input?
