I need a new paint job on my bumbers. Where can I get it cheap? Can i get spray paint myself and where?

 

Don't spray it yourself, it's gonna look ghetto. At the very least, take it to Maaco or some other cheap paint place. They could do a whole lot better job than you could yourself. I got a quote for my back bumper a while back and it was $225, but that was at a pretty decent paint shop. Maaco should be less.

 

They can do a decent spray job.. just don't let em prep it!.. they don't sand.. they just shoot a paint "softener" that makes your old paint tacky so the new will stick to it.. and everyone wonders why MACCO paint flakes/peels off in a few months .. Where are you located?.. If your anywhere near KC I know a guy that does good quality work for less than reasonable. Spraying is not an easy thing to do until you've done it a few times.. and prep is the most important part.. plus you've got to blend/match the paint.. if your car is a solid color its not so bad (we pull fuel doors and have em chromavisioned to get the exact blend of paint to account for time/fading), metallics are considerably harder to blend and often you will respray 2 to 3 times the area of original damage/work to get it to blend... yes its that hard to get it to look right... good luck
