Who has a LDS diff.

Asside from the maxima, what cars were available with a LSD diff? I'm looking for a second smaller car for winter driving and awd is not essential.

a lot of FWD cars will come with some sort of LSD option if you can find it. mostly more v6 cars, but other FWD's as well

The I30 5-speeds have VLSD and I believe certain models of the Infiniti G20 do, as well. They have the SR20DE in them, like the Sentra SE-R.

If money is not a huge option, look for a high mileage I30 5spd. If money is an option, look for a cheap VE 3rd gen.

I know the se-r's have lsd, I think some civic si's have them also. My buddy has an 07 si with lsd. I think you're going to have to look at 'sport' trims of certain models to get the optional lsd.

Conti Extreme Contacts, AS tire, but a dedicated snow performer. Mine go on tomorrow, will report my snow results when we get some of the frosty white stuff.

I think Car and Driver did a test a few years back and the verdict was that fwd with snows is better than awd on all seasons. Snow tires do make a HUGE difference, so fwd + lsd + snows and youre all set.
