how do you remove the outer tails on a '95?

To take the outer lens off,
pull the fabric like liner down from the inside of the light. then, i think you have four nuts or so to loosen that actually stablize the light. Once you take the nuts off, you have to pull the light out. There will be an adheasive holding the light in as well,so it may feel like it won't come off, just pull util it does. If the paint works let me know, I have a 95 also.

Custom painted tails for a '95-'96 CHEAP
ok, i finally removed the outside pieces and used this japanese lense spray stuff i had left over. it's silver in color. it looks ok. i think that if i had spent some more time on it and wasn't rushing to get it done, it would look better. and i would have painted the reverse light to match. but it looks a lot better than stock did. i also placed a red light bulb inside the turnsignal so now it's a silver cover with a red turnsignal. i'll post pics as soon as i get a camera. in about two or three weeks, i'll redo the entire set up so it'll look more clean.
