Stupid Mustang driver <g>

Okay, so i was driving on the slow lane when all of a sudden this Mustang zoomed past by me. It looked like a late 90's model. Couldn't make out which model in particular as it was still around dawn and i didn't really care.

He was pretty much zooming in and out of traffic (not that many cars, probably 2 - 4 at a time in a 4 lane road) trying to be first everytime the light turns red.

From what i could make out when i pulled beside him, it was a guy in his late 30's or so.

Anyway, to get to the point. He was weaving and zooming in/out traffic like this for a couple of miles without even using his signal lights and just braking quite hard whenever reaching a stoplight trying to make sure he makes it to the redlight.

To me, he was just trying to cause an accident doing that.

Eventually he started to annoy me with all his rowdiness (so to speak). Which was good. About time i taught this guy a lesson (at least in my head hehehe..)

So for the next 5 stoplights here's what i did.

1) Pulled up to him on every redlight
2) He took off. I just barely hit 4000 rpm but i was able to stay on his side. I could very well hear his engine growl like crazy. And he seemed to "jump" everytime he changed his gears (Is that an Auto or manual?)
3) So i stay on his side till like 30mph just to play with him

THEN! I floor it.

I could see him trailing behind me, again like he was stopped. It was like beating that Civic a couple of days ago.

On the first light this happened i thought he would stop and be ashamed of himself having a 4 door family sedan beat him.

Butt nooooo.... He gunned it even more on the next light (screeching tires) and i did the same exact thing to him. Happened for the next remaining stoplights before i had to make my turn.

Unfortunately he just didn't seem to give up. Too bad. Was his loss not mine.

All things considered at least i got a couple of thumbs up from two other drivers who saw the whole thing

True.

I think it also has something to do with the 02 Max's having those clearlights. Now everyone thinks i'm a riceboy.

Oh well. It's nice being a sleeper

I'm seriously considering getting the 00/01 taillights though primarily just for this reason.
