2003 Maxima on Sale Date?
Hi! Do you guys know would the 2003 Maxima be on sale in August 2002 (as usual period for previous model years) or January 2003?
Because I know 2003 Maxima model will be manufacture in TN, USA from Jan 2003. So, does that mean 2003 model ONLY on sale since then?
Correct me or give me updates please! Thanks!

Dude the '02 just came out!
You will have to wait for the 04 for the new body.
2 rumors floating.
A: The 04 will be based on the Altima and will be a bad *** 4dsc
B: The 04 will be a Q45 style car and that the Gen 5 is the last of the 4dsc.
IMHO get an 02 SE 6 speed

actually, your wrong. I just bought an '02, and it's the last kind with that body. Only the engine is different from 00 and 01's.(besides cosmetics like HID headlight and clear taillight)The 03 max will be more powerful but lose it medium size and sportiness.

At this time every thing is just speculation. No one really knows jack. Some think the 03 maxima will be all new, some don't. I am beginning to think the 03 will be all new. The 6th gen maxima will deffinatly begin production in TN come 1/03. The question is will it go in production else where first? One fella here seems to be tightly connected with nissan and he claims the 03{6th gen} max will begin production next fall at the{or amybe one of ?} US Altima factory{s}, if this is true the 6th gen max will be out next fall. I think we will not have any really hard facts until next spring, so sit tight!

there are several reports stating that the next Maxima will start production in early 2003 in TN, nissan has stated this yhemselves. so the vehicle most likely be a 2004 released in late spring or summer just like the 4th and 5th gen were released. I wonder if any other Maxima will have a 6 year span like the good ol 3rd gen 89-94!
