Some pics of my accident...

Here are some pics of my accident that happened about 1am this morning. My car was parked on teh road @ my friends house and a truck came flying back out of his driveway and smacked right at the front of my car. From the pics it doesnt look bad but there is more damage then it looks. One is that my motor isnt sitting straight. Two, my front moutned sensors are broken and that is $$$. I also found out my frame is bent. I will get the total of damages soon.

Two maxs down

you think you have bad luck my fist max (2000 GXE) was hit by a semitruck and totaled, to make matters worse the trucking company that owned the truck did nto exist and the drive didnt speak any english and dissapeared off the face of the earth. stupid f***ing cops let him go even aftet they found out the truck wasent registerd.

so i get a new max (2000 SE) this time a drunk hits me and drives away, i chase him and he rolls his truck into the woods, the cops come and the guy dissapears, no joke this truck wasent registerd either and had expired plates. for the love of god when will my max be safe?

hope it's not that bad.... but, did you say the frame is bent? He hit the front of it? I don't see how it could be THAT bad, I think it's fixable.. but get an estimate, who knows..

atleast now you can get a CF hood and maybe do a Sarona front end or something?

goodluck with your repairs, hope insurance takes care of it and not your own wallet!

Synki, sorry to hear about your accident. Maybe this is a good time to look at a 5spd swap?

What's up with all the Maximas in accidents lately? I hope I'm not next. *crossing my fingers*

Synki i am sorry i feel your pain, well if it can be fixed and your not paying for it maybe you can get an aftermarket front end, always look at the bright side, thats what i did and now i am driving a 97 SE, but since i won't have insurance in 2months it doesn't really matter.

I got my estimate today. I am looking at a rough figure of 3650-4000 (depending of they can fix my bumper or not) of damage. This is just from a truck backing out of his driveway.. i would hate to imagine how much more it would be if i was hit any harder.

I am late on this one. If I had the room I could have taken him. I drove out to Coram, LI.
