Trans Cooler would be my first. Then the VB. And if you want some real auto power. Go with a prostall torque converter.

Or a 5spd conversion. But if your dads car is stock, just sell it and buy a 5spd. Damn, I kinda wish I was still stock so I could do that. A conversion will work perfectly if done right tho.

You could get a 6 speed auto from level 10 with like 75% -80% effcenty. Screw getting a 5 speed manuael conversion thats gonna be a pain especally hanging a clutch pedel. My friend has a level 10 tranny that thing is sick.

I can't wait to get my 6 speed auto tranny it's gonna be nice!!!!!

let me get this straight here
with a tranny cooler
VB mod. torque convertor optional
it could handle it?

thats basically the question im going for here. im not going for ***** out speed anymore. if i wanted that id sink the money into my eclipse. id say mid 14's would be good for me in it

im also not in the mood to alter the car in anyway that i can not return to stock form. IE holes in firewall.

how about the guys with the auto S/Ced maxima's on this board, i know there is some here.
lets hear your opinion

Do you see that 4th gen next to the "SC" badge in my sig? It runs 10 psi on an auto tranny (same setup).

I get about 10.5 psi on 1st to 2nd shift, but about 9.5 for the rest due to the early shift point for the 2k's (@ 6000).

thanks man. now i have to convince my dad to sign his 97 se auto over to me. so i can actually have a car thats reliable.
the ONLY way i will own another maxima is if it has a blower on it.
