make it all wheel drive. swap my 5 speed for a 6 speed. and a nice sound system. everything else in it is perfect. oh, and replace the burnt lamp behind the fuel gauge that ruins the look of the beautiful se gauges.

Well I didn't win the lottery but I did bank some cash from Iraq and it's been letting me have some fun with my recently purchased 4th Gen.

My Mods:

Replaced with new: rack and pinion, control arms, hubs and bearings, cut and slotted rotors, new calipers, Russell steel braided brake lines. Venom High Performance fuel injectors and a Venom 400 Performance Control Module.
Ksport Kontrol Pro Fully Adjustable Coilovers. Sinlge piece headlights w/ corners and blacked out clear turn signals with matching blacked out tail lights. Alpine IVA-W205 w/ PMD-200 Blackbird Nav System. Hifonics 6" speakers all around with dual 12" subs in the trunk. Complete sound dampening with Quiet Car.

At the moment it is still a work in progress but it should be up and running in a week or two.

Sorry I forgot to add a back-up camera which was installed in place of the trunk key lock but is being moved to the front grill mounted in the Nissan logo and wired into a standalone DVR for the fun of it.

I like that idea alot.
I would buy a huge house with 25 parking spaces in the garage. I will buy many other better and more expensive cars too. But I will keep the Maxima. I will put supercharger, new exhaust system, get body kit, or with other words I will get her to 350 hp and make her look very beautiful. Then I will ship it to Bulgaria and there I will race it and kick the crap out of everyone.

Have a competent shop do a nice turbo build up on the motor, swap in a 6 speed, larger front and rear anti-roll bars, about a 1" drop. Probably leave the appearance and wheels as is to keep the sleeper effect. I have a friend with a body shop who I'd have take out all the door dings and the few light hail dents, then reshoot the car with Spies-Hecker paint but keep it grey lustre. Love the color but Nissan factory paint isn't that great. Spies-Hecker is a lot harder and much less chip prone.

Then I'd post pictures of it in the 5th gen picture thread.

Get a Heuge Garage to put it and all my other cars in, and then...

Buy an really low mileage 03 Black on Black 6 spd.
Ship it to Mines in Japan with an unlimited budget, RWD Conversion (Most likely using the 350Z drivetrain massively enhanced. Shoot for a solid 650 at the wheels via Twin Turbos and a fully built motor...4.2L ?). Probably having them also taking all the body off and fitting a well engineered titanium chassis stiffening suspension and frame bracing, but keep it stealth and unseen.

Wheels: 19" HRE 5 spoke dished custom made wheels, Ceramic Brakes from something....
Just completely retarded all around really and why not? If anything it would be alot more unique !
But keep it Clean and tight looking Black on Black. Custom painted with Audi black paint. A simple Stillen front, AE rear skirt. 01 SE Tails. No badging except the factory nissan emblem on painted black front grill. Shaved keyhole in the trunklid. No stickers. Black powdercoated FMIC.

For the Interior: Silk Nappa leather Recaros, Full sound deadening, New Silk Nappa Leather on all surfaces, thick *** carpet...Basically improve on every area that is weak in the maxima, but still keep it a "Maxima". One that can destroy the best of the high end Euros on their own turf. (AMGs, M cars, Brabus..)

And have all kinds of Badass Euros to compare it too.

If I won the lottery, Maxima-related I would:

- Keep my '98 and do the following to it: new VQ35, new leather/heated seats, new carpeting, new stereo, new steering rack, new paint (arctic white of course), new radiator/hoses, new heater core, new ac lines, new wiring, new tranny
- Buy a 3rd gen Max, gut the interior and all mechanicals and put everything all-new in it
- Buy a 7th gen Max

Yeah this question may be a little bit outlandish, considering that most of us would probably move on to bigger and better vehicles, but I was daydreaming a little and thought, if I had $50,000,000 sitting in the bank, I'd do some serious overhaulin to my baby.

I'd try to keep it as sleeper looking as possible but would hire a custom shop to make my Maxima AWD, drop the VQ37VHR engine in her and make it a TT

Damn, I need to play Powerball more often.
VQ37VHR?!

Pshh... RB26DETT and make her AWD!... lol... If that was possible...

finish the payments, get a touch screen hu with gps, get a real leather interior, 18in rims with z rated tires, do a 6 speed manual swap, put in a turbo, get some sweet headlights, replace some random parts, buy a body kit, and have it repainted black.

Would you pay to have plastic surgery done to some broad when you could get one that's hotter naturally and better in the sack?

No?

The why the HELL would you keep a Maxima? No love lost, I love mine, but she'd be long gone were I to be capable of hopping in to an IS-F

well, after doing practical stuff like paying off my student loans, and then after putting some money into upgrading some of my guitar gear and computer, i'd probably just have it basically refurbished, keeping it essentially stock, but making it less likely to have problems for a long time. i might consider an exterior refinish as well.

1st. Pay it off.
2nd. Quit my job
3rd. Find the perfect 4 dr long bed Frontier and SAS it with 37's and a 5.6 swap
4th. Move. Buy a 1000+ acres somewhere so I don't have to deal with stupid people
5th. Invest the rest of it so I can pass a **** pile of it on to my 2 boys

Definitely put in a new sound system--not one of those bass monsters, but a really sophisticated system with high end separates and lots of clean power.

Drop in a Q45 motor with STS rear mounted twin turbo, true dual exhaust, and four wheel steering. Also would convert it to RWD.

I'd send it to that custom shop you see on tv. I'd have them paint it two tone, redo all the suspension and brakes, new softer leather seats with heat and cooling, navigation, DVD's, a nice stereo system, some 19 inch wheels and finally I'd have them bore out and super charge the engine for a little more hp. Let me go check my tickets right quick.

this is the dumbest thread i have ever read.

if money was no object.... we wouldnt have bought a maxima in the first place ( and that goes 2x for anyone who has done any sort of performance modifications to this wet noodle chassis we have)

but since i have the max already i would buy a ls3 motor, two turbos, a crap load of steel and a t56 & 9 bolt rear.... i would have a rwd tubbed maxima for ****s and giggles.

but i would drive a 09 cts-v as my 4 door sports car.
