6 speed enthusiasts come in

yo, what's your take on the Altima taken over the flagship and the available V6 6 speed? Would you trade in your 5.5 gen Max for a new Altima V6 6 speed? Price wise it's about the most powerful Japanese car for the lowest price that still offers a 6 speed which makes it a very good deal. I had a 1995 Altima(2.4L)from 95 to 2002 and the Altima has refined and evolved and I've driven the 08 and have to say I'm impressed. Will you consider this a downgrade? Too bad they don't make 6 speed Maximas any more =(

like I said, for 6sp enthusiasts, the dilemma is the Max doesn't offer manual no more and the past debates had to do with some people preferring the Altima over the Max while others think we should wait until the 7 gen Max comes out which is not my scenario either. I was trying to find a 04 or 05 Max 6sp but it's really hard to find and it's made in Tennessee as opposed to the Japanese made 03 which casts some doubts.

Seriously? You will only get noobs to respond to you, and even then I'm betting just a few "cool thread"s from <15 posters if you're lucky.

My Automatic 5th gen has just as good take off as my 6spd 6th gen and the 7th gen has paddle shift on the steering wheel.
