cracked windshield
cracked windshield
So i'm driving along and there's this flatbed truck towing one of those tar-steamroll things and this lil rock goes WHACK into the very top of my windshield. Within a few miles I had a crack about 12" long. It really sucks.
I am debating whether to get a new windshield now or wait until spring when all the salt and sand from winter is gone.

Why bother? I mean, the comp deductible is $250 and the windshield is only $400. So you save what, $150 ? And your rates might be affected.. not worth it mun
Full glass?

You might want to contact your insurance company. My glass coverage does not have a deductable, are you sure yours does? I've had full glass coverage for years and it has really come in handy several times.

i guess what i'm saying is it is probably not worth the hassle if filing a claim will have an impact on my rates
