going back on topic here...

1. i did mention toks are not all that great for 4th gens...no one listen.
2. they are not THAT bad that they blow within 1.5 months
3. most likey this is due to improper install..dirt/debri/scratches on or around piston area

erica..how do u know they are blown? besides the bouncy ride. leaking? see any shock oil anywhere? any chance they were messed up upon the reinstall or whatever u had to do when it was noisy?
good luck w/ the warranty. if they honor it then play the lotto that day..u just might win.

Mine are still perfect and noise free, 6 months and 15,000 miles later.

Wow...

That sucks. I have had Sprints riding on my stock struts for over 3 months now and I have had no problems. The car bounces a lot (because of stock struts and smaller springs), but no squeaks whatsoever. Hopefully I will be getting some AGX soon...

so you're saying it's more a installation issue? and NOT defective equipment?

I installed hers the first time too, after I installed mine. I haven't ridden in her car yet, so I can't verify their bounciness...

perhaps something got damaged, as I feared, when the rattling improper install happened the first time (fixed by me). Regardless, I am just going to order KYB's. If they do honor the friggin warrantee, I will be happy, and sell the new ones. If not...well...whatever. I now have the use of a Monro brakes/mufflers garage to do my installs.
