World Record!!!!!!!!!!!

YES! My suspension blew in 1.5 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SWEET! I am never ever getting tokico again, #1, and #2, I am calling them and raising holy hell. I refuse to deal with their lame replacement warrantee (up to a year? HELLO, 1 MONTH and the thing is shot!). How the hell are you supposed to work that anyway...you send them the broken parts while your car sits on jackstands for a month? LOL. Anyway, I am going to get KYB now. This is ridiculous.

As an aside, I am a retard and my oil was really low. Poor Max! i forgot that synthetic burns faster.

I want to see just how bouncy you think this 'blown' suspension is.

the car is making more noise than 1.5 weeks ago, and it bounces like a tennis ball over the slightest road imperfection.

I was planning on doing that. I am going to try to get my $$ back flat, but it's unlikely they will do that...fortunately I just sold some oboe equipment. No xmas presents for my family though HAHA.

oh and my oil is confusing me. It looked really low this morning, but now it looks overfilled (oops...I only put in another quarter quart tho). I thought the excessive cooling ticking after I turned off the car might be due to low oil or something...argh...so confused.

Uhmm... I know Tokicos aren't the greatest, but how did you blow your struts in 1.5 months? I can only speak from personal experience so don't get mad... I've had them since April, they squeek a lil on rough roads but that's b/c I don't have rubber boots on them, no biggie. The front passenger side strut had to be replaced when I got into the accident, along with the cv and sway bar. If we lived closer, I'd be curious to see how your struts blew.

I'm sorry to hear about yout Toks going bad. I have the same setup H&Rs and Toks. Had 'em for 3 months. No problems. I wonder if maybe your installer may have scratched one of the pistons or something. I've noticed a big warning label on my Toks saying if the piston gets scratched, the shocks will fail.

That cool ticking has more to do with the fact that you probably just drove your car pretty hard and fast. The engine got quite warm, and while it was cooling down, all the metals parts of the car started contracting, as they shrunk, some parts shrinked (?) faster than others, causing those little ticks from slight movement. No biggie at all. Not oil related.

Just shows that you were enjoying your ride

as to how they are busted now? I have no idea. It's not like went offroading. THe roads around my house and on the highway from work do suck a LOT...well...they have been doing construction with lotsa BUMPS. I would only go like 10 mph over the bumps (much to the annoyance of others behind me), but that may have contributed. Maybe I got a bum set too. It's friggin' pathetic, regardless. I was talking to someone last weekend, and he said his blew within 3 months, so...yeah...maybe it's central CT!

I called Tokico...brainfart...they aren't open til 12 my time.

ticking: it was the most ticking I've ever heard. I guess the engine was really hot, and the air in the garage wasn't.

Let us know how things worked out with your Tokicos Blue. That was fast for it to blow out. Hope everything will work out for you on the KYB AGX. I got my order in for them already. Hope to get them soon.

I don't think that synthetic burns faster than dino. I was/am under the impression that it doesn't break down as fast as dino.

You're right. Dino is more likely to evaporate than synthetic.
