The first five mods any max owner should do is...

Since Im one of the few new maxima owners around, there are plenty of mods I am thinking of doing, but I wanna prioritize them. Im starting out with a clean surface to work(2006 SE red/black leather, non navi).

If you were to list the first five things that should be done what would they be?

Ones I thought of:

1. Tint(gonna be done this weekend)
2. order 07 spoiler
3. shop for rims
4. get headunit
5. LED tail lights

Im probably missing a few, so I need your help...

Huge Exhaust
Huge Spoiler
Huge Rims
Huge Type-R Stickers
Huge Subwoofer

Hahahahaha nah, I'd go for performance mods first (although the list I just gave should give you about 500hp extra at the ground) But if you wanna start off with just aesthetics/interior, what you've got listed sounds about right. Maybe: speakers w/ head unit & body kit

agreed, you just listed cosmetic additions, if it was me i would spend the $800 or so for new wheels for some performance mods.. how often do you really look at your Spoiler or Wheels? i enjoy the sensation of driving my maxima muuuuuch more than checking out her exterior.

And what do you mean by few new maxima owners? an 06 is not so new my friend....
and why u posting a new thread at 5 am ???

haha that is what my list is...but the order would be intake (already have), catback (ordering in a few days), FSTB, then springs and struts at the same time.

although i might do the SSIM, get an underdrive pulley, and advance my timing before i get the FSTB and springs/struts.

Go to tire rack and when you pull up your make and model it will tell you what the pad material is. I strongly recommend the hawk hps pads i know others around here like the akebono pads too. I dont remember off hand which ones but do some searching and i am sure you will find your answer

face it...maxima brakes blow ****!!!

caliper/rotor upgrade
springs/struts/rsb
wheels
tint
bolt ons

thats right, go fast parts last. Because maximas are slow, even after FI so I don't see the point in wasting money on making our cars quick but to each his own.

Ummmmm..... You posted in the general forum and titled your thread with '........any max owner should do' yet you list a 07 spoiler.

The first 5 mods anyone should do is too subjective IMO.

and....

A person's budget and goals decides.....

Turbo's are so simple your right You dont have a turbo, so how can you make your statement?

I dont really think of custom interior when i think of first mods.. Im more for go go go than INSIDE SHOW!

Nor do i think of "customer sound w/ nav sat radi hd etc "...

My list...

1.Cai/Wai
2.Exhaust
3.Rims
4.Tint
5. (Open)------

We can sit here all day though and rip each others ideas , but its really up to the person...

Thats the great thing about owning a car! You do what you choose to it and 98% of the time your not wrong for doing it ...

unless its some HUGE Spoiler and Windshield washer LED's
