Re: God Damn-it!...

i had this idea once myself, i would put a electronic moving tv connected to a ps2 bc i could play games and watch movies, though my idea had the ps2 built into the glovebox so no wiring could be seen

okay.. gotta answer some questions now..

The PS2 mounting bracket and all should be done on monday and will sit directly underneath the glove box (the PS2 wont fit in the stock glovebox without a lot of cutting).. all smooth looking, but i will have the ability to take the PS2 out at will.. just have to buy extra AV and power cables..

tony-The wiring you see under the seat can only be seen when the seat is pushed as far forward as possible and it doesnt bother me cuz no one will ever see it.. but i know you could have done better.. oh and the audio from the PS2 is phenomonal!!! i played tekken tag at a mini show/meet tonight and it was bringing a lot of attention

stynki-I wish i had a garage to keep my car when i come for xmas.. but i dont so the car stays here, besides i think that is when my trunk will be fully redone, so it works out.. car kept in a garage all break, with constant watch, and trunk gets all redone..

jim -I cannot wait for a max meet whenever i get to bring the car home.. no lottery, just debt..

vteckilla -this is not the DVD/CD unit, BUT!!! i can get the DVD/CD unit for 1300-1400ish.. email me.. if you want one..

Thanks for all the compliments guys, and it's bad having the PS2, all i want to do is watch DVD's and play with the TV while driving.. great investment, calling insurance tues to add it on to the policy..

thanks..

shift **** is from Razo (real carbon fiber and billet aluminum), and the switch for O/D is rewired to a small red momentary switch on the side of the dash.. the shift stem itself was cut 2.5 inches to make it look nice and low..

i got the shifter from a guy in jersey, if you want his number email me.. i think the shifter is like 50$ or something like that..

yes, but only today and yesterday.. hopefully the amp rack will be in tomorrow.. if it DOES NOT go in tomorrow then the PS2 will be taken out and left inside for the time being..

the rack will essentially hide the PS2 from plain view.. the reflective tint helps too..

looks very nice... I want a screen in my car some day, but I won't pay close to 1K now when I can't help but think that I will be able to pick one up for a 1/3 of that in a year or two.

Seriously though tony, hook the board up with some stereo deals.. come on!!!

PhantonR-trust me it's hard not to watch and drive, i make myself nervous but i am pretty good about it. the only time a DVD will play or PS2 will run is if i am in heavy traffic and can glance down with no fear or if someone else is in the car.. thanks for the compliments..

pics of the ps2 rack may have to wait till this weekend.. we'll see..

nice

dude, looks very nice, reminds me of my old Alpine video/computer setup, very sweet.

I would suggest one thing though -- if it would fit, maybe relocate the brain of the Pioneer to under the passenger footwell. That's where I had my Alpine brain and there was plenty of room and no visible wires, etc.

Just my $.02

stay cool
