Did your mechanic make the list?

My NPR buddy told me to check out this website to find good mechanics (and put in your 2cents). How's your mechanic rate?

The mechanic my parent's regularly use and I occasionally used made the list. The shop I go to in Arlington isn't on the list but it should be.

Exactly. My general mechanic does awesome work, and has tons of knowledge in what he does. Yet, he's not on this list. Go figure. Those true old school gear heads don't care about online **** they care about cars.

I was wondering about a place near my house. They have a ton of positive comments. I'm going to check them out. Good find

Why would I give my money to someone else to do what I can at home?

LOL, that was a bad comparison... but still, lotsa kit cars out there that'll do so many things better than a Maxima.

I live in a neighborhood that doesn't allow 'car maintenance' or even car washes.

Mines is on the list, I agree with you previous posts that it's always best to do as much as you can on your own. But sometimes I just want to get something done and I don't want to spend a day in my garage getting messy. Brakes, fluids, routine maintenance I do it all. But sometimes I just want it done and am willing to pay for it. I don't mind giving the cash to an honest mechanic, wich is often hard to find. And I love click and clack...
