are there just some days you just hate your maxima?

Somedays when I don't feel like driving...
Or feel like looking at that SES for that damn O2 sensor...
Or when my sub cuts out...and I'm still saving up for a new deck. haha.
Other than that, I love getting into it when it's like 30 degrees F and turning the heated seats on and soon I am warm again, I like the noise from the intake, and I love how at triple digit speeds it still feels like I'm going only 80ish. (On a closed road of course )

Early VQ35 Maxima, so yeah, I hate every cold start. The early morning 2-3 shift is really soft again now that winter is coming. Summer cures both issues so maybe it is winter I really hate!

I have been hating my max for the last 2 weeks, b/c she's been giving me soooo much trouble, with the starter (twice in 1 month), vacuum leak, cat failure right before emissions, battery died, and finally evap code, but all of that is behind us now and we can move on with our lives.

yes! ive had a slight PS leak for a while and some slight groans coming from the Front right brakes/hub area and just recently im startin to hear strange noises fom the belt area and a clunk in the front spring/strut assembly !!! ...sometimes i think of just letting her go and part her out...but when i get outta the car and look back i see a wounded animal that needs my help & i just cant abandon it...sigh

Sometimes.... she needs me to stop being lazy and get enough money to finish her up. I need to swap over the 5-speed + goodies + New CV axle's, along with new motor mounts, front brake calipers, power steering fluid reservoir hose, and a new master window switch. After that she'll be damn near perfect and drive like it too.

Haha, most of the people that say no, have pretty much stock cars.
My car was so incredibly reliable when it was stock, once you start tinkering with things, is when things start to creak/rattle, make funny noises, break, do things they shouldnt and generally you have more of those "damn this car pisses me off" moments.
All in all, i get over it fast, and start loving the car again. I find a lot of the time its these little things that annoy me the most, but then i realize, the car is 10 years old, and has 210K miles.

Cold pavement + 255 hp + quick right turns = expensive tire smoke
It was fun for a couple days when I first got my car, but now it is irritating. Drive by wire throttle can be inconsistant too, so even when you don't mean too, you can end up smoking the tires.

Only when there's a groan upon braking... or when I look at the SES light (EGR )... or when my wife hasn't washed the car in months (it's her daily driver, after all).
Otherwise, no. Feeling the power band after having replaced the KS after cutting up my fingers means that we're stuck with the Max and that we better enjoy it.
