Another kill - Grand Prix SE

I was just driving around with my friend and we got onto the thruway (190N), and was maintaining a steady 75MPH. I glanced at my rear view mirror and noticed a car closing in on me really quickly. It was a Grand Prix SE, probably a 98 or 99. Right after that, I turned off O/D to get back into 3rd, and held my speed until his rear bumper was at my front. Then I floored it, and caught up to him by 95MPH and zoomed past him. Kept pulling on him till I hit about 120MPH and then flashed the hazards to signal a victory Another victim added to the kill list.

On a side note, I felt like experimenting with the car today and found these about the car...

1. 1st gear tops out at 48MPH.
2. 2nd gear tops out at 82MPH.
3. 3rd gear, I didnt push it to the end, but it seemed well over 120MPH!

That was a fun night. I think I need a couple more mods though

Hey it's fun to beat a car. I mean look at Pontiacs, they think there fast, u can tell the driver thinks so 2. So when someone comes along in a 4 door sedan, everyone underestimates it. I like to brag about every kill i make. Once these kids in a Jeep tried, that was entertaining

i have an auto and i have been 137/138. was at 132 last week. and the new top speed for sx7r is 154/153 i think , but it is above 150. at 135 mph or so you are right at 5100/5200 rpms. i do not know what the top speed is.. DRAG is a large problem. HOWEVER i just lowered my car and hopefully will find out soon. i AM shooting honestly for 145+

but we will see

Yeah I'm talking to you. Picture this: A guy "flies" by you, going at a constant speed, oh say, 90 mph, because well that's what people do on the freeway. He's going faster than you, just because, well, this guy likes to drive fast. When he gets beside you, YOU floor it, keep it floored till, oh say, 120 mph. Was this a "race"? Not trying to flame you, but from the way you described it the first time, It sounds like a rice fly by. And your recent post seems to change the story a little bit.

What the crap? NO I wouldnt rape you. Dude, read. "IT'D" which in English means "IT WOULD". As far as the GTP stuff, riiiiight. At least make some valid points with your response. It just makes you look un-intelligent when you post replies that have no validity, with no actual point or direction, other than to call american products "crap", etc. Thank you, please drive through.
