Interference from tint

I swear I searched, came up with nothing but problems with AM radio reception. Has anyone experienced any noticeable problems with metallic tint on their cars and running a detector. Im not planning on getting the front done but I wanted to know if anyone's tint interfered with radar siganls to the point where it was real weak or non-existent. Im just going 35% all windows and rear either in charcoal or some platnium stuff. Thanks in advance.

I don't know about AM signals or radar signals for sure but I did notice a decrease in my aftermarket alarm signal range right after tinting. I would assume it does affect the other signals just a tad.

I've had my tints for a long time, and my radar detector is not effected, so my answer is NO!

i'm not sure about this but...

i think the metallized tint is the kind of tint that may cause interfearence. I had no problems on my old max with 20% tint. It was the cheap regular film..

I would suggest asking the tint shop, they give warranties on their tint, and ask them before hand about it's affect on any signals...
