im sorry this thread just = FAIL.. every answer was said at least twice,...buy a good ice scraper and man up.. or get a garage..along with what everyone said .. /thread

Why would you even ask for advice for this anyways? The answer is pretty obvious. I guess it's because I live in Canada and a full inch of ice on your car isn't uncommon but sheesh.

U can work harder, but I'm looking for ways to do it smarter.

Prestone spray on de-icer. Works excellent for frost and a thin layer of ice.

Quit complaining. You yourself said you only had a thin layer of ice on your windshield that could have been scraped off with a credit card. My car currently has over 10 inches of snow on it with at least 1/3" of ice underneath the snow. God damn son quit *****ing.

and i'm sure some peoples cars are so iced up they stick to the road, so you quit *****ing

Doesn't quite get much worse than nearly a foot of snow and a third of an inch of ice, honestly.

I got some de icer and put it in a spray bottle. I start the car and turn the defroster on, let it run for a few minutes then spray away on the windshield. after letting it set for a few seconds run the wipers and BAM a clean window
