Hayden tranny cooler

I posted a short how-to on the Hayden Transmission Cooler on my web site. This is a fairly simple mod that most anyone could feel comfortable doing. I have been trying to post some of the more obscure how-to info on the site - things we don't ordinarily see documented. Check Wednesday morning for RT cat and Courtesy B-Pipe install....

Tranny Cooler in cold weather? >>

I was wondering if the tranny cooler is wise in colder weather. I've heard that the tranny fluid needs to reach a certain temperature to operate correctly. I was wondering if the tranny cooler will prevent the fluid from reaching the correct temp during the winter.

Tranny Cooler

Perma-cool offers a remote oil thermostat which prevents over cooling in cold climates. Check with Summit Racing.

B&M Supercooler has built in features to prevent>

TO prevent overcooling. And their design is "stacked plate construction" similar to radiators and ac condenser. Unlike Hayen, Permacool or Flexlite which use the older tube and fin design.
