Muffler Repair

2000 maxima with a stock muffler.
The muffler mount that attaches to the rubber gasket/mount snapped off directly on the muffler. Short of getting it welded back on, is their a temporary fix like using JB Weld i can use for the short term.
I want to get a new muffler and b pipe but want to wait til the spring.

Thanks

Visit your local exhaust shop, see if they can weld it back on for you.
If there was that much rust that it snapped off, chances are they might not
be able to weld it, and JB weld surely woun't hold either.

thanks for the info...read up on JB Weld and they say not to use on exhausts because it gets to hot.
