Why not go with 3000k?

 

2000k = practically brown, no visibility. does not exist in HID bulbs.
20000k = purple/blue, riced out and so pointless, you were better off with the 2000k.

 

Go with 3K.

I was just wondering because my step dad bought some HIDs for his mustang gt and Denali and when we got the HID box .. It had like a scale of the coloring you would get by the watts.


ex: 3000k yellow
4000k white light green lookin
5000k hyper white blue'ish
6000k blue

AND SO ON...............


but it also said that the 2000k is like a red color and I wanted red for my fogs because I already have that 3000k look to them and I wanted to change it up a bit, to go with my theme im trying to do which is red and black even tho my car muhagondy who cares but yeah ...

Not to be that guy because my car isn't perfectly legal, but red HIDs would be a red flag for police to pull you over. Not to mention you wouldnt be able to see anything.

Those aren't red those are purple/pink. I think he got banned on here so he won't be able to clear it up, but I'm pretty sure they're 12K.

You can get HIDs in custom colors now, red, yellow, blue, purple, green, orange...they do it all now

Try ebay. I just purchased 6000k hid bulbs for my fogs in h3 and i installed them today using my old blast box, and they are extremely bright white. Just what i wanted. I paid 12.99 for them and shipping was either free or 4.99 can't remember. but they are worth it. easy installation. I also have the fog light rewire done so my fogs look sick....
