I am actually glad Medic has his car running now. I don't think he should give it up either. I am actually using his car as testing for my setup (he doesn't know this though).

At Maxus, we were kind of going back and forth about what was wrong with his car because he should have been right there with me in our races. I know what I have to do now.

Man, you should've been there. I don't need a 5 speed. Oh yeah, watch out for Greg.

We were goin through one of the turns and the rear end of your car was "floating". A few of us talked about this @ teh gas station. To us it looked like the rear was about to fly out but it might have felt different in the car.

I know Dennis wants to run against you. Ill see what he says about Friday.

oh i didn't notice it much at all. must be the RSB, i do have my stillen RSB installed on this car so the rear isn't TOO bad. me and matt didn't notice any rear floating. maybe i was concentrating on the road or something. and ya i would love to get another big gathering like this one again. it rocked.

how about when you got off the exit ramp to I-91 just before the break down lane where you swung across 3 lanes and your car rear pitched out and almost hit the wall.. EVERYONE remembers that one

hmmmmm

Well, I had an 96 auto SE, and it was quick stock and with mods. I raced a 95 5spd once and really really wanted to hang with him, so instead of sticking my tires I had them up in smoke LOL He pulled on me by several cars, didn't get another chance to race him. But at the track in the 8th mile he only had a time that was like 0.1 secs better than mine. (maybe he couldn't drive ) Now on Wednesday I am getting a 98 5spd SE and soon as I get a chance I will see if I can toast my old track times

analogy which may or may not make sense

I thought of an analogy to the manual vs. tiptronic vs. auto debate.

Today I was at Rockefeller Center and there were 2 gorgeous Swedish girls taking photos of each other one at a time. So I offered to take the two of them together with the rink and statue behind them. One of the girls asked me if I knew how to use her camera (wow was she fantastic looking about 6' and blonde)--it was a Nikon F Series with maybe a 135 lense or something, not the standard 50mm. Then she switched it to auto for me to take their picture. Dang I wish I could have gotten a copy of the photo it is sure to come out beautiful as the two sumptuous blondes were smiling and hugging each other, but I digress.

My point is that there are plenty of people who spend $$ on photo equipment--they wont go digital and they wont even use autofocus--they still prefer to focus the lens manually. A similar driving enthusiast also exists with respect to manually shifting the tranny.

ya go for, i don't think it's that big of a difference if you only run NOS sometimes. for people like thomas who are on the bottle more than off i would say colder. but mine were stock level NGK plats. by the way, you get the bottle heater working
i have the bmp of the REAL instructions on my HD if you need them.

your gonna hve to use the thermostat until you get the gauge
and even then i have my gauges mounted in the passthrough so i could see it from my seat. it worked out very well. 900psi is too low.

Not true. Hogan's Dark Matter ran faster times than Don. It was a 5spd with more than 1bar of boost.

I never heard anyone talk about Hogan's Dark Matter and I believe you. Don is still running 12's with his auto and that's faster than most 5 speeds.
