Yeah well he said it ran in the 11's. Proving the car even existed may be difficult though. When I get $10k to spend on some mods I may have to see if he can't help me out on the whole sending the car to Japan to get "tweaked" similar to his.

Don't meant to sound like a skeptic but I bet that most of the autos have stock size wheels and the 5 speeds have bigger wheels. No?? At least that's what I observed when there were sigs and pics. Maybe that "levelled" the palying field somewhat between 5 speed and autos.

Auto's:

Hogan has 17 inch wheels
MedicSonic has 17 inch wheels
Deezo has stock 15 Steel wheels.. which are heavier than all the aftermarket wheels that were at the pike...

plus at high speeds.. wheels don't matter much

Yup, because my tires are still rated at 130 and could have gotten a higher rating too.

You got that wrong. Automatics are a bit slower than 5 speeds. Autos are not slow.

I have a '95 SE w/57k miles....

Let me rephrase what I said earlier.

Automagic Maxima's are slow compared to manuals. (Stock for stock at least, you can't deny it)

We a-magics are, however, faster than TONS of cars on the road. Either way the maxima is a sleeper.

To anyone who has ridden in a fairly stock automagic back to back with a fairly stock manual can back me up.

But with automatics you can cruise around and not have to worry about shifting all the time.

Ahh, how a dual transmission would be nice...
