I hate when that happens.
Quick, call Nissan and complain about their design.

Thats ****ty man..I was pulling into a coin wash the other day and scratched my front bumper on a brick wall. Major bummer. I ordered some factory paint and some clear coat, sanded it down and Im planning on painting it tomorrow. Hopefully it will match decent until I can get a new front bumper cover. I hit a deer a few weeks ago so ill also be needing a new right front fender I found a front bumper cover for 73 bucks and a front fender for 143..Pretty good price i think. you guys tell me

Man that sucks! After washing my car one time, I tried to open my hood and forgot the wipers were up and I scratched both wipers blade arms.....but oh well...things happen!

So, it was def a lesson learned!

Once I open my garage door half way (which i dont usually do, i usually open all the way) so exhaust flumes can get out while I warm up my car. So when it comes time to back out, I look in the mirror and see the street so I slowly back out just to hear a loud crack. Go out and find out i got, 3-4 dents/sratches and cracked lower part of garage door. This was within first week of owning the car too. Lesson learn tho.

I kinda did that, I left my cell phone by the short ram intake, and I had to drive to pick up a friend, I was freaking out, I thought somebody stole my cell phone, finally when I got back home, I kept calling it, and found it. I was driving for more than 20 minutes and couldnt find it.

I do the wiper thing alot, but never had anything major, or even noticable.

Put a sign on it, telling everybody that you did it, and throw cookies at them if they look at you, lol!!

Haha! Believe it or not, my gf brought her jeep to the dealer just last weekend for her 75k service. They did the exact same thing. By time we got home, there was oil all over the underside of the hood, on just about every part of the engine, and running all down the outside of both front fenders.

Note to self #2......replace the oil filler cap after removing it

I was trying to pull an extension cord out of a plug in the ceiling and I yanked it too hard and it and the plug came out and made a circle gash (the size of a quarter) on my hood. I cried a little.

In my old car, I took it to Pep Boys for an oil change, and they didn't put the dipstick all of the way back in. I came back and there were oil splashes on the battery, alternator, all the stuff over there. Needless to say, that was my last Pep Boys oil change.

Never done the windshield wipers thing and never even thought about it, I will definitely have to keep that in mind.

I do have some hood damage though. About 6 months ago one of my AGX's blew and shot straight through the strut mount right into my hood.

I have worse. Last year after spending $7K on my paint job, I had the car parked in the garage and a rake (thankfully a plastic one) fell and put a small chip in the paint on the door. Didn't even make it one whole week.

mine is worse. i was cleaning my engine with a small brush at night. i didn't see that i left the brush on a side panel under the hood, and closed the hood. the next morning, my hood had bent a good 2 inches upward because the damn brush was stuck directly under the hood.

I told my landlord at my last garage several times in my last 2-months that she had to have a garage door company come out and fix the door because I was done dealing with it. The cables were all messed up and it was always very hard to open and close, but it started getting much much worse and it was starting to fall shut real hard sometimes.

Well she figured since I was moving out soon that she didn't have to actually fix it! Well I was packing up the last of my stuff, I was literally on my very last load! Me and a freind were in the garage putting the last of my stuff into a nice tundra, which was backed 80% of the way in- bed first, with the front just barely poking out of the doorway, when all of a sudden out of nowhere- That garage door started falling! It gained speed real real fast, at the end it was like a ****ing freight train- BANG! It lands right on the hood! We were both standing at the back of the truck, and it happened in slow-mo for sure. We ran over both thinking "maybe it's alright?" haha, definitly not! It completely ruined the entire hood and both fenders!
