Ok, I will take delivery of a 2002 6 speed in a few days. It is a 3 year lease, but I do have the option to purchase down the road.
My question is, what options in your opinion are the best bang for the bucks? If you were to put mods in your car, what order would you get them?

Here is what I am thinking:

1. Filter Charger/CAI
2. FSTB
3. RSB

The above 3 I can do for couple hundred a piece I believe. Then there is the Y pipe which cost about $400+, and supposively give ~15hp. That might be a bit out of my budget or not as feasible at this point. Any opinions?

 

overall best bang for buck is NOS

 

60 shot NOS, $550 for the kit, cheaper on Ebay.

NOS on 3.5 2002 Max 6speed = and

 

NOS is good mmmmkay.

NOS is def 1 of the best bang for the bucks. I know i have proven this to Chris91SE and the poor Mustangs.

Thanks for the advice. Here is my analogy, NOS for a Max instead of CAI, RSB, FSTB, Y pipe is like me going on steriods instead of running and getting my VO2Max up, doing squats to get my legs bigger, or eating good food etc. Haha yeah I don't know if the dealer will like me putting in on the blue bottle

 

Y-pipe and/or rsb for a new engine .. otherwise, NOS

 

NOS is the best bang for the buck, but you will need a CAI and Y-pipe to take full advantage of the NOS.

tell that to the guy in the BRAND SPANKIN' NEW Z06 Vette who was at the track running 10's on NOS .....still had the temp tags on that bad boy too!
