look like you need the upgrade harness and run 80w/100w.

I don't like Euro light either. Here's a list of headlights I tried. Nokya, Eurolites, Cool Blues, JC Whitny Xenon. I rank eurolites to be on the bottom of the list. I'm running 80w/100w JC whitny Xenon and they are fine in the rain.

Man, you have to be one of the VERY few people that like Eurolites... they are well, pretty crappy lights.

Re: simply put..
I agree, I would not get the cheap HID look-a-likes, but what is a reasonably priced way to upgrade your lighting system?

I've got the Hiper industries 80/100 watt Xenon charged bulbs on stock harnesses...been in for almost a year and no problems...my 100 watt H-3's burned out in 3 months...so I went back to 55 watts for them...plenty bright enough...no problems seeing in the rain, especially with the driving lights on...

just stick with the bulbs that worked the best (whitest light.. no blue tint) and use PIAA 55 watt bulbs in the fog light housing.

I'd recommend the Piaa
Super Whites. They are the Stock wattage but are twice as bright. people flash me all the time because they think I have my brights on. ONly problem is they are kind of expensive. ~$65-70.

Re: I'd recommend the Piaa
That means you need to reaim them... for some reason i've noticed that changing bulbs sometimes requires reaiming...

how to reaim lights...
there are these little wheel circle things next to each headlight and u just turn it... depending on the direction you turn it makes the whole headlight higher or lower... its good to go up to a wall like 10 feet away and adjust the lights against the wall... or also you can go into a dark alley and adjust it there... see how they are in the distance.. like 40 feet compare to the original bulbs... i know when i put my hiper white bulbs in i had to adjust it a little... i left one bulb stock and one i changed i adjusted the changed bulb to the stock one and then i changed the other stock to the hiper white and adjusted it to the first one... it was pretty easy to do in my driveway with the headlights on reflecting off my garage door...

And if people are flahsing you, it's because the HB1 lamps that Maximas use put out the worst beam pattern...a problem now compounded by the fact that your lamps probably need to be re-aimed.
