You may want to race to 80 or so. The 60 limit will come up quick.

 

Get the facts right...E320 is 221 hp and will be a contender. If you race till 80 the E320 will start pulling hard on a auto.

Here are some numbers I was able to dig up on the E320 before it received the V6 transplant in 1998. I couldn't find numbers for that engine.

Car and Driver: 6.7-7.2 0-60
MotorTrend: 7.2-7.4 0-60

Is it going to give you soem competition? I would say so.

I laugh at that engine they put in the new ones. It's rated at 192HP BUT the 1997 V6's had 194HP. Reading your story, I would place my bet on Empz Maxima on the Maxima Vs. Camry

yeah and they're rated @ like 192hp @ !!!5200rpm!!!!, if they're racing highend he'll probably leave that camry in dust.
