I am selling my wheels and I don't know who to use and ship. Anyone have any idea how much the 215/60/16 5 spoke maxima SE wheels and tires weigh? Please help, the quotes I have gotten so far are too high, like $200, I was wanting like $100. Please help!!!!!!!!

Aleast 40lbs each. The key is to package them well yourself. Paying places like mailbox etc, packing store... They will charge you an arm and a leg.

Weasel

Weasel,
can you tell me as much as possible about that transaction. I have someone
wanting to buy my wheels but the shipping is around $200 which is way too
high. Could you tell me the dimensions of the package and the weight. Any
help will be greatly appreciated.

This was shipped to me (they look all spiffy on my car ), so I don't know everything, but here goes. He packed the wheels as is, with air in the tires, as 4 individual packages. The only packaging was cardboard taped over the face of the wheel and then 2 layers of thick (very thick) plastic wrap. There was a shipping label on each package, and to be safe I would put one on the tire or the cardboard so in case the plastic tears (highly unlikely if it's thick enough) they still know where it goes. He shipped the lugnuts in a padded manila envelope. The Tire Rack ships this way also (tires on wheels wrapped in plastic), and I can vouch that there wasn't a scratch on them when I got them. Your cost might be slightly lower if you're not sending the lugnuts, mine included that. I have no idea offhand of the weight but the dimensions are about 22" diameter x 8" thickness. Good luck!

I used UPS ground and put two 15 inch stock wheels and tires in the same box I got from U-Haul...their large moving box is the perfect size for two tires your size to fit side by side...was like 47 lbs each box and don't quote me but I think I paid $80.00US for the whole total two boxes.
