Post your RPM's at 70MPH here.....

whats up guys..just wondering if i am at same rpm's as you guys..I am at 2400Rpm doing 70Mph and 2100Rpm at 60 Mph...what are yours???? And i only have drop in intake as performance mod........

It depends on what car you have, what tranny, and which gear you're in. I have a 92 SE Auto. And when I am in second gear doing 70 mph, I am revving about 6000 rpms.

Yea...its another name of automagics....(automatic)..i have 95 GLE with 2k 16" rims

About 2300 RPM @ 70 in 6th gear.

I have no idea... I do know it's right at 3000RPM when I'm doing 90.

oh yeah my 5th gear is @ 700rpm going 60 or 70... its my netural gear

about 2,300 or so cruising at 70-75

I believe it was told that 4th gen 5 speeds have a short 5th gear... Thus the RPMs on a 5spd are higher in 5th gear, then autotragics in 4th????
Also, can the higher highway fuel economy ratings for automagics (28 mpg highway as opposed to 27 mpg highway) be explained by this as well?

5spd @ 5th gear is around 2500rpm @ 60 if I remember correctly, shorter than our 4th gear.
