i'm going to say no.
it's a safety switch. so find out what two wires to jump and you should be able to start it.

why did you do a swap w/o proper information BEFORE starting the job?

find a FSM and look up the wiring.

How do you flash a ECU? Do you lift up your shirt in front of your car with the hood up, and then run away?

hmmm... go to search..... type in ECU RESET... and guess what youll find...HOW TO RESET THE ECU... and to make your life that much easier, since its clear to the org. that you cant use the extremely easy to use Search button, ill tell you its the first one that comes up! or you can go the other route to find this out..... READ THE STICKIE THAT WAS MADE FOR RESETING THE ECU... yes it would of been a lot easier to just tell you how..... but one day youll need to grow a set and do it for your self

First off, the spelling Is some what off, I am having a hard time making out the sentences. The words are

not in complete sentences, I am having a hard time trying to figure out what the problem is. Is the clutch

itself there and are the harness connections are right, do you have the auto ECU and Is the ignition switch

working and are all the fuses and swithes are working.

Oh really I didn't know? Today I was trying to reset my ECU at the local grocery store and I just lifted the hood, flipped up my shirt and then ran around to the back of the car and then back to the engine compartment but the ECU was still UNRESETED and so I tried mooning the ECU instead, it still doesn't work.

The police were very nice, they seemed to be very understanding. I even got a weird shot and a nice white jacket to wear, although its kind of tough typing in it. Well, right now my car is in the impound to be safe while I am held for mental review. I don't know why they are making such a big deal of me trying to flash my ECU. I told them over and over that I was just flashing my ECU so I can do some mechanical stuff, but they just told me step away from the car and put my cloths back on.

thats odd. are they pressing charges.. if so notify your lawyer about the stickies here on the org and it will help your case... the shirt worked for my ecu reset.. weird how you had to moon it too.. and take it to a specialist.. and about that white jacket.... i worn you.... it gets hot in the summer times... i know from multiply experiences.

i think hes trying to say he had an auto 95 but swapped it for a 97 manny tranny... i cant read egyptian or whatever language he is useing

Haha you managed to flash your ECU from simply lifting your shirt? Strange, I tried both flashing and mooning my ECU with no results. Perhaps I should have had tired streaking... I heard from a couple friends that streaking causes continuous and spontaneous flashing of the E to the C to the U and so maybe I should try that once I get out of this facility.

And if that doesn't work I will take it to a specialist like you said... I was thinking about hiring a dominatrix to help me flash my ECU, I heard she was very "convincing" and is able to do anything. I hope she can flash my ECU for me
