maximas computer made by microsoft??

maximas computer made by microsoft??

well i guess the maximas computer is made by microsoft b/c my check engine light came on yesterday and when i took it to the dealer i got the biggest load of **** ive ever hear, apperentaly my computer crashed and thats why the light came on funny it still drove fine, but any way i have to get the whole thing reprogramed which will take over 2 hrs at 73 bucks an hr, which by the way is not covered under any extended warr. they cant even remap the fuel or anything to give me more hp ******!

lol i found this funny, they have no clue how it crashed he was like it just happens, i just laughed at him

you must have a new 5th gen with windows xp...

You know that you have to use the "Shut Down" feature before you take your keys out of the ignition, right?

Anyway, since you have to have it reprogrammed, maybe a performance shop can do it for you for about the same and remap the fuel, etc. for better performance while they are at it.

Oh, and be sure to get a surge protecor for the new one.

i tryed to ask them to do that but no such luck they say it cant be done, dont know of any performance shops around here that could do that so o well guess i bet butt raped by the dealer to get it fixed

sounds shady to me.... try and read the code and see what comes up....

i thought so too seemed funny that the computer crashed but yet the car drove fine like nothing happend, owell its already fixed, 178 bucks later what are ya gonna do i need my car back for school tomarrow so had to have the dealer do it

My computer crashed at at 15k miles and they fixed it for free... they also fixed the emergency brake, replaced four new brake pads, heated seat light (the light didn't turn on), driver side airbag computer chip (the chip for some reason was fried), and one spark plug all for free in august...geez.. imagining paying for all of that.. but overall, my car runs fine at 18k miles for a 99.
