Gains on exhaust cutouts?

Gains on exhaust cutouts?

I've been doing my research on the web but can't find any one with proven gains on a n/a vehicle. On max's I've seen the cutout right after flex pipe..anyone has these on there car with a proven before and after?

it should prob get you around 320+hp and about 500tq

Sure you have gains, in the NOISE area mostly.

if you get one of the electronic ones it adds a new switch to the dash and to the cool factor of the car. now if your running a 400+ hp V8 through 2.5" exhaust and "stock type" mufflers because you want to keep it quiet and not scare off the ricers then by all means get a cut out.

if you have headers, it might give you up to 15 to the crank. so its good for about 5-7 whp.

Without a complete exhaust system (or with the addition of a cutout) you will lose just about any and all bottom end torque. This pertains to N/A only. Boosted cars are a different story.
