Ground Control and KYB-AGX installed

so I got my car back a ealier and I must say that its like driving a whole new car. I have the AGX set to 2 and 4 (50% stiffness) and about a 1" drop. The car rides smooth and controlled and has almost no body roll. I can take corners much faster than before and when I attempted spin out in a parking lot by creating overstear then going to wide open throttle the car just held its line and did an amazing 180 with little traction loss. I can't wait for it to stop raining so that I can really test it. I'll get some pics up once I have a chance to take some.

Aaron finally has lowered the car. Mwuahaha.

Im glad you like the GC's & AGX. Maybe you should tell Ant95se that.

Anyways, the GC's & AGX are great though arent they? Nothing but the best. Beware not to lower it too much, if you do, it is very bouncy. BTW, which springs did you get the for GC's? THe stiffest ones (red spring)?

Did you set the corner weights? Or did you just lower it till it looked even?

what are corner weights? I just told the place that installed it to drop it one inch below stock.

cost:

install = $165
springs = (used, but never installed, the red ones, shipped) = $320
AGX = $390 (shipped)
-=-=-=-=-=-
total = $875

if I go really low then it will be mostly for show. the more I drive it the more I like it

Setting up the corner weights is the main advantage of coilovers.

You set each wheel of the car on a scale. Then you tweak each spring so that each wheel caries as close to the same weight as possible. Now obviously your arent going to get 50/50 front/rear in a Maxima. But you can put a weight in the seat to simulate a driver and get 50/50 side to side.

It's the key to ultimate handling.

A pic of an integra on the scales
