So, a 4th Gen ALL STOCK can go 3 feet off the ground and be ok........
Last night I was going like 45-50 and hit a bump and went like 3 feet off the ground and bottomed on the front of the car and held control and the car is fine, just some scrapes to the skid plates......lol. Damn, dumbest thing I have ever done by far, didnt see the little hill part in the road, and just went flying. Nothing is wrong though, alignments fine, its all just fine. Thank god. My mind aint fine but the car is, thats what counts. Just thought I would tell you guys this.

It was one of them speed hump like things, it was a dark road and no paintings on it and I was doing well over the speed limit and didnt see it. Its about a 2 foot incline, so I shot up it and then you figure another foot airborne from speed. Either way, it wasnt a good thing....but the car is ok

Did you like freeze time and get out of the car and measure how far off the ground you were? Take out a ruler and measure three feet and tell me that that isn't high for a car to jump. Maybe 3 inches, but unless I see proof think 3 feet is a little exagerating.

No, this was not planned, and I think it was 3 feet cause people saw it and said "Dude you were like 3 feet off the ground!" Either way, it wasnt good, but everything is ok. Let me tell you though, its as close to being in an accident as I ever want to be!

Same things happened to me coming back from school. It was in my old 87 Prelude, I was trying to catch a green light so I got up to 85mph and went through the intersection, but right after there was a railroad crossing that I just been repaved. The car flew, I felt all four tires hit the road simultaneously, as my head hit the sunroof

first off - trust me, you didn't get your car 3 ft off the ground... but i do know what you mean by it feeling like it was. cars weren't really meant to leave the pavement so anytime you get airborne it feels crazy.
anyway, don't assume that your car is fine. i did the same thing, it was dark out, i hit a nice hill in the road that i never saw going about 75-80. got airborne and my car came down with the worst clunk you ever heard. seriously, i thought it was just going to fall apart. but it turned out to be fine... or so i thought. two weeks later my shocks started bouncing like a kid on a trampoline and another 2 weeks later and my suspension was SHOT.
something to think about... it seemed fine at first.
