Hmmm...if the new Altima is selling so well how come I never see them on the street?? I live in SF Bay Area and have seen less then six new Altimas on the street over the past three months.
Makes me wonder where exactly these Altimas are being sold. I see a lot of new Camrys on the road though. Every parking lot has one without the plates yet.

A year ago, my dad wanted to buy me an alty. Instead I bought a 200hp loaded used taurus. If the new 2k2 was out, I might have reconsidered. However, I doubt nissan is going to sell them at $13.9k (the price the dealer was willing to sell them at).

I've seen about 3-5 everyday around DC, and maybe another 2-3 in College Park around my school.....and surprisingly most are the 3.5s, only seen about 2 4cyl. though.....on the other hand seen about 2-3 2k2 Maxs, not as much as the Alty though! I'm suprised how many people are buying those ugly things!

I noticed when I took a road trip how rare Nissans are in the rest of the US. Nissan must be concentrating on the Northeast. There are too many Nissans here. I've seen plenty of new Altimas, a few Max 2Ks, everything. Nissan's are soooooooo common up here.

In the latest Motor Trend, they say something to the effect of: The interior materials on the Altima are nicer than the Camry......
shocked?
