Clear Bra Removal (3M product)

I'm ready to order and install this bra and am concerned
about the long term affects of this product.

Has anyone removed this product after years of usage? Was
it easy to take off? Any lasting damages to the paint?

Thanks.

Re: Clear Bra Removal (3M product)

I have one on my TL Type S. Never had a chance to take it off. Doesn't seem like it faded my paint at all.

Has the clear bra been commercially available for long enough for someone on this board to have had it for years?

I know someone who installs them for a living and he installed one on his black S2000 and he took it off a year or so later just to see what would happen and it hadn't damaged the paint at all.
