Ok so I have seen a bunch of posts of people here gettin the new 6-spd max but I havent seen anyone who has gotten the new I35. Anyone picked one up yet? What do you have to say about it? Anyone?

I just recently got an i35, its awesome! It looks great (better than the maxima in my opinion, also the i35 shares no body panels with the 2k2 maxima, only the roof) and its quiet, and very fast at the same time. I've only gotten it up to 4000rpm, about 1/3 throttle, (break in period), and it flies like a rocket, much faster than my friends 2000 maxima se or my 1999 accord exv6. I believe it does 0-60 in 6.8 sec.

 

I just did the promotional test drive for the I35 yesterday. Its a nice car. It doesn't feel like it has as much dip as my 99 SE-5spd. It does feel fast off the line. Even with partial throttle, the tires would spin off the line. Not sure if the traction control was on or not. Its a nice car, wish it has 5 or 6spd though.

 

I haven't even seen one on the street yet.

 

Nice ride. Fast. Still a glorified maxima.
