Those who have aftermarket parking brake *****....

Do you just get the one's that everyone(civic owners) get? Cuz the guy at one shop that i went to says that the honda one won't fit that i'll need a custom application or drill it out. I thought someone here just used the one civic owners buy...thanks

some, not all, i guess you could consider it to be one, but they can hve more than just that shape, a levoc wouldnt be considered a sleeve in my opinion

I just put on a Polished aluminum with a carbon fiber insert E-brake handle today. It kind of reminds me of RedMax's.... It's made by "Tenzo R" It is also kind of long, the stock button for the E-brake does not stick out and it sits inside the **** so I have to push it in there with one finger, no biggy.... Looks pretty cool though, no idea what car is was designed for, I got it from a fellow Org member.

Yo Redmax, how did you make a custom button? what did you use?

thanks!

actually it was quite interesting, with the shifter came these black plastic spacer things that werent necessary for it, so i cut one down that was the widest so it stays in place and it works great, and i chromed it out as well

So did you put it on top of the stock button? Or did you replace the stock one with the new one?

Sounds cool. BTW, what kind of E-brake handle do you have????

yea, that one looks like mine
What did you use to grind the hole bigger? I might do that, it's a good idea.. the handle just seems so solid, I thought it would be too solid to grind down..

here is mine on Adam's "AGNismo"s car...

What did you use to grind the hole bigger?

I used a hi-speed dremel rotery tool with a sanding drum and sanded some of it out but it wears the sanding drums down fast so I switched to a drill type bit which I grinded enough for it to slide over the parking brake handle.

if you have access to a high school/ college metal shop with a lathe then it would be much easier and would only take like 5 min on a lathe.

-RACTIVE Polished/Custom Brushed Aluminum E-Brake Handle=$30.00-Bought New From AIEOnline.com.

from my understanding most of the handles are really just automatic shifter handles for cars that don't have overdrive buttons on them...so you can buy an automatic shift **** and it will slide over your parking brake handle

Yea i have one on my car, it doesn't fit perfectly because the actual ebrake metal is curved at the end, but this doesn't mean ur ebrake would not be functional with the aftermarket ****, it just means that there isn't as much of the little button showing that you push in to release the brake, doesn't make a big difference and it looks better too, i wish i had a pic of it maybe later.
