is this a scam?

I found this car in an online classifieds and i thought about getting the car. However, the lady emailed me back a few times and it sound quite sketch. Any thoughts please! Also anyone heard of ebays vehicle purchase protection??

Here's her emails:
Hi ,

Thanks for being interested in buying my car. It is in a good condition, no scratches,no damages, never been implicated in any accidents,no problems at the engine, runs very well. The car has a clear title, is a perfect car. The price is not negotiable $3.700 firm. The only thing because i am selling it,because i divorced with my husband and after the divorce i own this car,now as a woman i don`t need it(i don`t have driver license)... We will use only eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection to complete the sale. If you are interested and you have the funds available email me your full name and shipping address.

Her again:
The car is located in Boise, Idaho (i just moved here with my new job),like i told we will use eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection,so we can both be protected and insured.I just need your full name and full address so eBay can send you the invoice in which you`ll see how to make this transaction. The shipping is free i will take care of it and i will send the car with all the papers( vehicle registration, warranty papers, transfer papers etc ) i am just waiting your full name and address to complete the shipping papers and start the delivery process.

The way the wording and sentences are reminds me of the E-mail scams I sometimes get saying I won an international lottery and need to send information so I can collect.

Was the car in NJ? He was selling a 300zx TT with HRE wheels for like $1900.

Anything with the words ebay vehicle ... blah blah blah ... is a scam.

I just got that same email from a craigslist ad its a scam. See this is my message I recieved

Hello,

Thank you so much for contacting me regarding my 1999 Nissan Maxima SE Limited Edition. The car has 127,000 miles, one owner, it's in perfect condition without any mechanical problems, with no damages or hidden defects, no need for additional repairs, clear title without any accidents, liens or loans. All power equipment are in working order. I have all the car's manual, 2 spare of keys, all the documents and papers. The last price for the car is 2,400.00$. I was fired from my job because the financial crises that affected almost everyone including the company I worked at. I'm in a hurry to find a buyer because I'm in debts with my bank, so now you can see the reason why I'm selling my car at 2,400.00$. I want to make this transaction through eBay's Vehicle Purchase Program. I want eBay because they are the biggest Company and we can close this deal fast and safe for both of us. If you are interested to buy email me your full name and shipping address (street, city, state, zip code, country) so I can open the case with eBay.

Thanks you,

Something to that effect, if I remember correctly. I deleted the emails a long time ago, but I got a similar response to what OP got when I asked if the car was still available.

Exactly I don't see how people cannot see this as bull****. If this was real and the car needed to be shipped she wouldn't have the price up she listed. It would of cost MORE.

Did the lady state the fact that you need to send your full name and address at all...lol. A bit repetitious. That's why when selling the max on CL I stated border state and in state inquires only, so the " I'll be sending a car shipper"s in Nigeria and Russia won't waste their time sending me emails.

same thing happened to me. came across an add on kiji selling an 2004 Acura RL for like 4000, when they go for like 20 000. Anyway same thing, now single lady, moved back home, and wants to get rid of her exes car. Free shipping and she even went as far as sending me an Ebay Motors invoice. Called ebay motors and they told me this happens all the time.
