Sorry if you guys think I'm selling out on the Maxima crowd, but today I saw a SER spec V and I was like, oh my gosh! It looks tight! So went home and did a little research, best price I was able to find was from Carsdirect.com. Locked on a price of $18,800 for the spec V with the audio package, ABS and alarm and immobolizer. If they cant find a car with those options, then I might just get the base spec V, which is $17,500. I dont really care about the options. These are like the MSRP, but they were the best price I could find. But I was wondering, are these prices reasonable? They include the destination charge, so I'm guessing with tax for the base and with options is going to be about $18,910 and $20,304. Anyways, someone is suppose to call me tomorrow to finalize the order. The only thing is about trade-in value for my '98 GXE. Got a quote from KBB of a trade-in value about $12,000. I'm not sure how much carsdirect is going to offer for the car. Hopefully I'll get about $11,000, cause then that will leave me with about $5000 for a down payment, I still have about $6000 on the loan for the Maxima. Well, I'll let you guys know how it all goes down.
