From the Factory

Straight from the factory without modding, which maxima is the fastest...the 3rd gen VE, 4th gen, 5th gen or 6th gen. Let's see how many of you really know about Maximas.

I believe the GT-R Edition Maxima is the fastest.

Fastest, as in top speed?
Or quickest, over an not yet specified distance?
Measured by what source?

Is there really an accurate, single source for this information?
I can't imagine how all these "fresh from the factory" cars all got together on the same track, on the same day, for testing.

5.5 gen, base SE, 6MT. No sunroof, no leather, no bose. Best power to weight ratio out there.

That or a toss up between a 5.5 6MT with HLSD, because the launch would help times and handling around a track.

From the factory the VE has the best top end by far. The 5.5 has great low and mid. Never tried the 7th.

Your so-called "best top end by far" is down 65 peak horsepower to the 5.5 gen version of the VQ, and 100 peak from the 7th gen.

Sixty five to one hundred horses is a LOT to be down by, and still be consided "best by far", don't you think?
