A rep at Stillen quoted me at $200 for their B pipe, is this a good price?

Courtesy B-pipe is less than that and has a resinator.

Ya but doesn't it have that whole O2 sensor, extension piece problem, or is that just with newer Max's (I have a 96 GLE). What's a good price for the Courtesy One?

Call Courtesy and talk to Vince of Kaleb *only*. Ask them about the presumed "problem". Not sure what cars it effects. I think last I check it was like $180 or so.

96 should have O2 sensor in the cat, not behind it in the b

pipe. You might want to look to confirm.

Thats the problem...it doesnt have the O2 sensor, so it needs an extension piece to make up for the gap.

What he means is that the O2 sensor is a part of the cat, which makes it longer. The extension piece makes up for this extra length on the cars that don't have the O2 sensor hooked into the cat.

Moral: You won't need the extension on a 96.

You don't need an extension piece for the O2,but a fabricated

one (see my other post) because the b-pipe is too short to fit!! I have a 96 and a courtesy pipe.

ordered a courtesy nissan B-pipe last week. asked the sales rep if I needed the ext piece...he told me the 99s don't need it since it comes with it...think I did see it the other day my car was on the lift at a local speed shop for the y-pipe and SS brake lines install.

but anyways, courtesy is back ordered in their b-pipes...think pricing is 189 or something? without shipping.

oh well, would go check it out for real tomorrow...anxious about it.

Oops, maybe I was wrong. If it wasn't so cold, I'd go lift my car up and look.

Still waiting on my Courtesy b-pipe at ~$190. Think it's a better solution than the Stillen with the resonator & all.

Talked to somebody today and they still don't have em in yet

OK, I have a 97 SE WITH an O2 sensor that is behind the catalyst. So will I or will I not need this "extension" thingy? I'm confused too.

I've got a 97 SE too. It's got the extension piece with the O2 sensor screwed in.

Whether or not Courtesy ships the ext piece, my shop's gonna weld/extend the b-pipe (like GregP's) and re-install the O2 sensor in that. Less parts. More efficient.
