Painting interior plastic help

need some opinions hopefully experienced advice on painting interior trim pieces.

anyone know of a DARK metallic gunmetal spray for plastics?

I will use a plastic primer.
then the color (want a DARK metallic gunmetal matte)
finally a clear coat.

PREP
SEM 38353 Plastic Prep (cleaner)
http://www.levineautoparts.com/semplasticprep.html
SEM 38363 Sand Free
http://www.levineautoparts.com/semsandfree.html

PAINT
i want a dark gunmetal paint. semi-metallic is best with a matte look.
colors i have seen online that are promising are:

sem color coat 15253 Titanium Metallic (on some sites this looks perfect, other too light)
sem bumper coater 39263 DARK TITANIUM METALLIC
sem bumper coater 39273 CHARCOAL METALLIC
I really like the bumper coater colors but they do not specify for plastic. I can only find SEM online, not locally.

CLEAR
How can i have a matte look that is still smooth? I do not really want a high gloss.

this one sounds promising:
SEM Satin Gloss Flexible Clear
http://www.levineautoparts.com/semsatgloscl.html
OR they also have:
SEM offers Low Luster Flexible Clear
http://www.levineautoparts.com/semlowluscle.html

So i am also wondering which is best for a matte (non gloss) look, yet smooth and easy to clean?

Surprised that no one has responded here....

http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_for_plastic/

That's the stuff I use, no need for 'primer' / paint / clear... (although you could get a clear over that krylon, that's more of a how you like it to look thing.

Get some photo's up when you get finished....

I used Rust-Oleum Plastic Hammered paint. It's the same stuff I used for my engine bay.

It's labeled straight to plastic no primer needed. I did however, sand and adhesion promote my engine pieces. After two days of curing, I used Rust-Oleum Crystal clear for gloss.

Looks great KC

i ordered a color paint chip sample for the SEM paints. then i will know if the titanium metallic is too light. graphite is on there as well. but still no idea about their bumper coater paint. i assume it works with plastic, but they dont say.

I apologize for bringing up an old thread ...

Did you happen to get the SEM samples to verify how dark or light the titanium metallic really looks? I'm seriously considering just painting my plastic pieces on my 2000 se.
