um, the new altima actually handles better than the Maxima now

The Maxima may be a sporty sedan, but it is not really a "sports sedan." That distinction goes to BMW 3-series, Lexus IS300, Audi A4.

They probably rate it by passenger room, not # of doors. The new M3 is a sedan in some ratings as well.
