Here is a maxima for sale on Ebay, just wandered if he was on here. It's different.

No idea, but not a bad price, overall it's nice looking, though I'd have to fix that rear bumper back to stock...

That dont look to bad but the air tank on the outside and the slanted plate ruin it. I kinda like the ragtop though.

Cant believe this guy is selling the car. This car proves that with the correct stance, you can pull off big wheels on a maxima.

How is a flat paint job considered "custom"? It looks like trash. The whole car looks like trash. I couldn't find one thing I liked about it.

Not a fan of flat black.
Hideous interior color.
WTF is with the chopper style side view mirrors?
The missing tail lights on the deck lid will most likely not get passed inspection.
WTF is on the rear bumper anyway?
The rag top is just god awfull.
New Jersey car, says it all.

Only 3 bids on it, less then 1 day to go and he's only got 5400 as the top bid.
What does he consider a "low reserve" to be?
25K invested in it, he'll never see anything near 10 for it.

another thing with the seats too is its just stock seats with new upholstery and the headrest removed, if you get rear ended without the headrest youre gonna get hella whiplash.

Saw this posted here a while ago. I like the paint and shaved handles. Interior and mirrors are hideous though. Pretty sure the tank on the back was for the air bags.

It's a show car... I don't think you will get whiplash when the car is mostly parked for show. I agree some of the stuff are hideous, but they all can be easily corrected. The car is not perfect or awesome, but with a little tweak, it can look super sweet and probably could win MOTM with flying colors.

That is quite a nice car, and is the first Maxima with 22 Inch rims that actually looks good!

There are a few things I do not like but if I were to ever buy that car, those things could easily be replaced.

This guy goes out of his way, spending tons of money to destroy the car, and you think we're the ones doing wrong???

No man, he didn't do that car any justice. Flat paint?!?! Nothing unique about that, it's visible on the road all over the place. Start in the trailer parks if you want to see first hand...And that ragtop is gheeetttooooo, yo!

If you only knew how much a quality flat paint job like that costs. Not to mention how much skill it really takes. You would crap your pants. It's something you have to see up close in person to notice the detail.

I'm not saying I like everything about this car. I actually dont, there are multiple things on the car that makes me vomit. Bottom line though, the car is unique. And yes the overall presentation of the car is beautiful. And even with the 22" wheels, it's still probably faster than most of the maximas on this forum.

They probably charge more because of the lack of experience. I can imagine how hard it is to lay flat paint, and not make it look streaky. Or better yet, it's an insult to have to do that kid of paint job, so they over charge, hoping to either scare the dude off, or rip him off if he's that stupid to want his car to look like that.

...but let's be serious for a minute, if there's a blemish, use Comet to wash the car, bam, flat smooth finish, so even if he messed up the shot, buffing it out is a synch with some rubing mixed in water, or like i said, Comet...

I knew a guy washed his El Camino with comet. Beautiful truck, dull paint. He swore it was the best thing to do to a painted car...trailer trash mentality can't be reasoned with...

Essential1 is not trailer-trash, not by a long shot my friends. He has one of the nicest cars around with gloss plaint too! But I don't see the problem people have with flat paint, I mean flat black looks different and good to a point. I wouldn't have my car be flat white or flat anything but it can look good if done right.

And I agree with Essential1, overall, the car looks nice and unique. But I am not saying it wouldn't be even BETTER with glossy black paint and a normal rear bumper and a normal trunk.

Maximas shouldn't look like crap. He would've gotten massively owned nasty on the org. This guy thought it was an SUV. We have an Escalade/Tahoe/Suburban/Navigator/Expedition for this stuff. Not a Maxima

ok When you compare a quality flat paint job and a "trailer trash" rattle can paint job in person, i'll be happy to continue talking to you.

Maximas also shouldnt have 3.5 swaps and coilovers. We shouldnt autox them either. It's a 4 door familly sedan...
