got a rock chip the size of a dime on the front windshield today, what to do next ... anybody had much success with getting it filled early before it spreads with safelite or other company???

i got it worse, last week some b1tch in a Escalade felt like flooring it from behind me to fit into the 8ft gap infront of me in rush hour traffic, and the fukcin Escalade fired a gumball sized rock onto my windshield and roof

previous owner of my 3rd gen put 2 or 3 chips in the windshield and got them filled/glued or whatever and they have never grown/spider lined

 

i have a big rock chip in my windshield on my stealth and it never grown bigger without filling in with anything.

 

Resin ftw!!

I live in RI and I put just regular fiberglass resin on my windshield. Works like a charm for me even in the cold winters.

 

got a buddy that works a at bmw dealership and should be getting it filled in friday for a 20 spot, just cant be having it crack all the way across like my truck
