they are fwd, 4 cyl, UGLY A$$ cars, and even after all the fart cans, stickers, and tow hooks, they are slow as $hit.
My maxima it's bone stock, sounds really nice, it's sooooo comfortable, i can hear myself talking while inside of the car, cops don't bother me because i'm a "streer RICER" and yet, i can beat the crap out of a honduh....
now if you want to talk about speed, well, that's what i also have a 300zx Twin Turbo, a 20 y/o car that even stock for stock, leaves the 350z and g35 eating dust behind me.

i haven't worked with the engine that much, but for what i've seen, it's fairly easy to get around. i replaced my halfshaft and it was easy as pie (without mentioning the fact that i didn't know you had to remove the 3 bolts holding it, i thought they were part of the shaft, and i pulled like crazy for a good 30 min lol)

A stock 350z is NOT that fast. Maybe a 13.5 second car at best with a good driver.
A 300zx twin turbo would at least match that. It would definitely lay waste to a '03-'04 350z, especially considering they only came with 280 HP compared to the 305 HP their '05 up counterparts came with.

03-04 will run a 13.6 and the 07-08 will run a 13.3
now go find me times for the 300zx. the owner of the biggest 300zx forum even stated himself. You guys can email him for a confirmation of what i've said.

well this car is not bad. i can fit a lot of groceries in it, go do at least three baskets of laundry, i drive on bad roads because it sits so high stock, i can go fast and no one pays attention because it's ugly. It has good upsides but too many downsides. I will use this car until i can buy a nice car.

haha the reason fakeluxury is hating on his own car is bcs he drove my E92 M3. He told me about this site and we just laughed at how some of you guys mod your 95-03 maximas with Z/G stock wheels and all that DIY junk and then think your car is cool.

i don't believe in polishing a turd. Money spent could of been saved up for a car that has a better platform in every area.
when is the last time you've seen a maxima in a magazine? no features at all. You will be lucky to see it in the "reader's rides" portion. No maxima winning any type of race events. You can have the fastest maxima and no one would care. So i don't see where you can say you rather make maxima into something great.

Here's something for you to try: Go out and try and pick up a girl. When she comments on your car, let your response be, "Thanks. Daddy bought it for me." See what she says. If she even stays around after that.

At least I know my car is easier to maintain and that I can actually repair it myself without having to go to BMW and get an overpriced BMW part.
My Nissan will probably outlive his M3, too. My buddy's M3 disintegrated after 130k.
Oh, and let's not forget BMW mounting the oil filters on the top of the engine on late model Ms, so that you HAVE to go to BMW to get your oil changed.

As for your 'other' car being worth more than mine - so what?
The Maxima is a unique car - I don't see tons of them around (at least not where I live/work/drive daily) - The ones that I do see, most are stock with tint, a few have aftermarket rims, and 3 of them are very modded...
Sell the Maxima to someone that will appreciate it.
